Job overview and responsibilities
The Project Manager role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of large-scale projects or programs, from project initiation through planning, execution, closing, monitoring/controlling, and change management. In many cases this role will be asked to take on additional responsibilities outside of project management within each project or program and therefore should not expect to be a task manager, but a true project leader. This role will also be responsible for mentoring and coaching Subject Matter Experts in building effective Project Management functional capabilities across the division.
Project Management:
+ Utilizes comprehensive project management methodology and processes to manage projects related to HR programs
+ Works with project business lead to map out project charter, comprehensive plan, resources requirements, risks and expected outcomes.
+ Builds and tracks project ROI and key success measures
+ Applies knowledge and data to resolve process issues/problems
+ Helps to identify and effectively engage project resources as needed
+ Influences and communicates with stakeholders to ensure that projects meet the established objectives
+ Ensures project delivery on time, on budget and the outcomes successfully achieve the goal
+ Solicits and analyzes feedback to identify and implement lessons learned
+ Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques in order to keep the project plan accurate, updated, reflective of authorized project changes as defined in the change management plan, and may facilitate customer acceptance Communicates to all effectively and in a timely manner with key stakeholders
+ Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques in order to monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances, and perform any required corrective actions
+ Experience in managing User Acceptance Testing processesContinuous Improvement:
+ Recommends and implements enhancements to PMO procedures based on lessons learned and best practices
+ Maintains knowledge of current HR, Project Management, and industry issues and trendsLeadership:
+ Develops and delivers presentations to executives, project sponsors and others on current projects, project management methodology, HR strategies, programs, practices and issues
+ Collaborates with SME's across the division to develop Project Management expertiseChange Management:
+ Brings Change Management experience and focus to each project, including the ability to train team members on change management principles
+ Improve team performance by building team cohesiveness, leading, mentoring, training, and motivating in order to facilitate cooperation, ensure project efficiency, and boost morale
+ Develops and maintains constructive and cooperative working relationships with others
Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
+ A minimum of 4+ years of direct project management experience on cross-functional projects required
+ Knowledge of project/program management process/ principles required
+ Planning and Organizing skills, in a fast-paced environment with regularly shifting priorities, required
+ Team building and collaboration skills required. Brings a positive mindset for the team and creates and engaging dynamic throughout the project life cycle. Creates strong relationships with all stakeholders, especially the business owner and sponsors
+ Decision making and problem-solving skills required
+ Demonstrated communication skills (at all levels of the organization skills)
+ Innovation and continuous improvement results-oriented mindset; a self-starter
+ Program design and implementation skills required
+ MS Office and MS Project proficiency
+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
+ Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
+ Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

+ PMP; Six Sigma Green Belt, SPHR
+ Knowledge of HR Operations/Programs
The base pay range for this role is $99,750.00 to $129,924.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
