As Corporate Communications Associate, you will serve as a key member of the Caregiver Communications storytelling team within Corporate Communications. Responsible for creating and delivering internal communications that inform, educate and inspire Cleveland Clinic's 80,000+ employees. This role plays a central part in **researching, writing, editing and producing compelling stories** that showcase caregiver experiences, highlight enterprise priorities and strengthen culture. Primary responsibilities include developing content for the employee intranet, newsletters, leadership communications and email channels. The role also contributes to internal communications planning, supports enterprise campaigns, manages caregiver feedback and helps ensure clear, consistent communication across the organization.
The ideal candidate is a **strong writer and storyteller with multimedia journalism skills** , able to translate complex topics into engaging, human-centered stories. This position requires close collaboration with key internal stakeholders as well as adaptability to support special projects, enterprise initiatives and crisis communications as needed.

A caregiver in this role works remote days from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Must reside in Ohio for occasional in-person meetings.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
+ Researches, interviews and produces compelling caregiver stories that highlight Cleveland Clinic's culture, values and enterprise priorities.
+ Writes, edits and publishes high-quality content across internal channels (i.e., intranet, newsletters, leadership emails).
+ Serves as a key member of the storytelling team, contributing to strategy and execution of enterprise-wide internal communications initiatives.
+ Collaborates with business, clinical, philanthropy and marketing teams to amplify caregiver voices and showcase organizational achievements.
+ Develops multimedia content using digital tools (CMS, photo editing, basic design) to increase engagement and visibility.
+ Monitors and responds to caregiver feedback through intranet comments and the Caregiver Communications mailbox to foster connection and transparency.
+ Supports strategic communication planning for priority areas, contributing to both annual plans and project-specific initiatives.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ Bachelor's Degree in journalism, communications or public relations and four years of journalism, communications, media relations or related field, OR High School Diploma and nine years of progressively responsible experience
+ Paid internships and substantial college newsroom experience may be considered
+ Background in journalism, communications, digital content, or related field
+ 3 writing samples that demonstrate your ability to tell compelling, human-centered stories. Multimedia samples (video, photography, or digital content)
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ Strong intranet or internal communications experience
+ Digital storytelling with the ability to integrate video/photo content
+ Comfort working independently in a remote-first environment with occasional site visits in Ohio

Physical Requirements:
+ Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
+ Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
+ Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.
+ Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
+ In some locations, ability to move up to 15 lbs.
Personal Protective Equipment:
+ Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $25.13
Maximum hourly: $38.33
The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education.
