Nurse Manager - CAC/Forensic Team
40 hrs a week FT Days
_Position Summary:_
The Manager is responsible for overall management of program operations SAFE CARE NY (Sexual Assault Forensic Examienr Chidlren and Adolesecent Resposne and Education Program), which addresses the critical need for Child Advocacy Center (CAC) based pediatric forensic medical care across New York for pediatric survivors of violence. The Nurse Manager of SAFE CARE NY provides weekly clincal supervision of RN 2's, coordination of services at 35+ sites, and outreach to and coordination with hospitals and local DSS to ensure trauma informed care is offered to child victims. Additionally, the Nurse Manager is responsible for attendance at MDT meetings as applicable, coordination of follow up with services to connect survivors and their non-offending parents/guardians to care, cross-covering local CAC sites as needed, performing forensic exams, and providing necessary pre- and post-care coordination with CAC's, law enforcement, and non-offending family.
_Education Requirements:_
Associates degree in Nursing required; BSN or Masters preferred
NYS Active RN License
SANE-A certification
SANE-P certification
_Experience Requirements:_
A minimum of one year providing specialized care to sexual assault and other crime victim patients; two or more preferred.
**Pay Range:** $48.50-64.70hr EXEMPT
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
