Salary: $85,000 - $115,000
Expected Contract Length: 2 years with potential for extension
Project Overview: Craig Technologies is the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) partner on the Bechtel and Northrop Grumman team to deliver the Sentinel Program, which is modernizing the ground-based leg of the U.S. nuclear deterrent triad, including intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) systems and launch infrastructure. Craig Technologies’s scope of service in Sentinel’s current Engineering & Manufacturing Development phase focuses on the ground infrastructure component of the program. Job Summary: In this role, you will support Mechanical Engineers in developing engineering design drawings. Major Responsibilities: Prepare 2-D CAD Intelligent Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) based on sketches and marked up prints. Review drawings and documents prepared by others to ensure incorporation of drafting standards, procedures, discipline standards, and other national standards, as required. Responsible for data integrity of components list. Execute schedule requirements while maintaining a high degree of quality in work product.
Education and Experience Requirements: Level 1 Requires a University Hire with 1-2 years of experience or 5-6 years of relevant work experience
Level 2 Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience
Required Knowledge and Skills: Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Must be authorized to live and work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Proficient in using Microsoft Office software. Prior experience with industry-wide design/drafting tools such as AutoCAD, Bentley MicroStation, PDS2D, PDS3D, Smartplant P&ID Component Databases. Experience working in a project team environment to resolve issues and improve processes. Excellent oral and written communication, planning, and organizational skills.
The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $115,000; however, Craig Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer for employment, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training and preferred skills and knowledge.
