    Our client, a leading organization in autonomous mobility, is seeking a Network Security Engineer to join their team. As a Network Security Engineer, you will be part of the Security Operations Department supporting the IT and Security teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Network Security Engineer

    **Location:** Foster City, CA

    **Pay Range :** $83/hour

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Support the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of network security systems including firewalls, URL filtering, IDS/IPS, and network access controls.

    + Assist in designing and deploying AWS network security solutions such as Security Groups, NACLs, and Transit Gateway architectures.

    + Manage and support remote access VPNs and ensure secure network connectivity for all users.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine security policies and procedures.

    + Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents to protect organizational data and systems.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Minimum of 3+ years of experience supporting production network security environments.

    + At least 3+ years of IT systems, application engineering, or administration experience.

    + Hands-on experience with AWS network security services including AWS Network Firewall, Security Groups, and NACLs.

    + Practical knowledge of PKI, cryptography, and certificates.

    + Strong understanding of the OSI model and Layer-7 protection techniques related to network security.
