    Position Description Summary

    The Advanced Practitioners (AP), which include Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA) at Our Client medical department, have similar attributes. They must possess the knowledge to diagnose and treat medical conditions and perform therapeutic and corrective measures including prescribing medications for patients whose conditions fall within the authorized scope of practice as identified in the Collaborative Practice Agreement, as defined by the AP, and collaborating physician at Client. Decisions made daily on care given to employees, in alignment with scope of practice. Sole decision maker on most cases but will consult colleagues and supervising physician as needed. This position supports and participates in the my Total Wellbeing Program with the Medical Team. Decisions are based on the needs of the employees in alignment with compliance regulations and standards of care.

    Responsibilities

    * Provide medical care to Client's employees

    * Surveillance Exams, Wellness Exams, Pre-Employment Exams, Chemical Exposure evaluations, Occupational Injuries and Illnesses, Urgent Care visits

    * Return-to-Work and Fitness for Duty Exams

    * Support IH Specialist with the Ergonomics program

    * Provide Occupational Medical and/or Administrative support to Regional sites to include Pre-employment, SEG clearances, Work Injuries, RTW/FFD, Cority/EMR support.

    * Pandemic support to include 24/7 phone coverage as needed

    * Perform daily calibrations on equipment

    * Monitor employees on Short-Term Disability (STD) and Long-Term Disability (LTD)

    * Collaborate with the Site"s myTotal Wellbeing Program lead

    * Communicate with site business groups, contracted providers, local community providers (hospitals/EMS/specialist/Primary Care Clinicians)

    * Collaborate with the CHS Clinicians group

    * Medication Inventory, stock examination rooms

    * Check status of outstanding WC cases

    * Work with IH Specialist to determine monthly health awareness topics, educate employees

    * Support Lunch and Learn opportunities for employees

    * Work closely with HSEQ IH/Occupational Safety Specialist on specific initiatives as needed

    * Work closely with IH Specialist and Site Admin on scheduling and coordination of medical monitoring appointments

    * Communicate directly to HSEQ Manager on key topics as needed

    * Participate in monthly HSEQ meeting and 1:1 with HSEQ Manager

    Qualifications Required:

    * Undergraduate degree with a minimum of 5 years or graduate degree with 3 years of relevant experience.

    * Preferred: 8+ years" experience with a Graduate degree in Nursing (MSN) and/or Physician Assistant and licensed to practice in Ohio as a Nurse Practitioner (APN) and/or (PA) in good standing with the Board of Nursing and/or Medicine.

    * Board Certified- National Certification in Academic Discipline.

    * Preferred Certification in Occupational Health.

    * Minimum 6 years occupational health experience; corporate health and wellness experience preferred.

    * Certified in: Basic Life Support (BLS)

    * Certified in Audiometry, Spirometry, Drug testing procedures.

    * Knowledgeable of: Worker"s Compensation Laws, FMLA, OSHA, HIPPA, GINA, ADA Standards, State Disability Laws, and the State Nurse Practice Act

    * Proficient Computer Skills: MS Office, Excel, electronic medical records, etc.

    * Good interpersonal/communications skills

    * Highly Organized / Effectively Multitasks

    * Seeking Part-time Clinician (Contracted) minimum 3 days/week, with additional days for office coverage
