Engineering Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Engineering Technician to support the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of advanced multimedia and broadcast systems. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation in AV and broadcast technologies, who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys solving complex integration challenges.

Responsibilities

+ Assist engineers in the design and implementation of AV and broadcast systems.

+ Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and calibration of equipment.

+ Support installation and configuration of control systems, signal routing, and networked media.

+ Maintain documentation including schematics, wiring diagrams, and system layouts.

+ Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

+ Conduct fieldwork including site surveys, equipment setup, and post-installation support.

+ Stay current with emerging technologies in AV, broadcast, and IT integration.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in wiring and electrical engineering.

+ Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills using test equipment and oscilloscopes.

+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment

Work in a weather-controlled facility with a full pantry where snacks and drinks are always available.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Burbank, California. Expected duration of the contract in November 2025-February 2026 (subject to change).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $37.00/hr.
