Now Hiring: Asbestos Inspector – Environmental Compliance
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
We are seeking a qualified Asbestos Inspector with a current NYS Asbestos Inspector license to join our growing environmental team. This role is ideal for professionals with field experience in hazardous material inspections who are passionate about public health and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
+ Conduct lead-based paint inspections and risk assessments in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
+ Collect environmental samples and prepare detailed inspection reports.
+ Ensure compliance with EPA, HUD, and NYS Department of Health regulations.
+ Maintain accurate field records and documentation.
+ Communicate findings and recommendations to project managers, clients, and regulatory agencies.
+ Adhere to health, safety, and quality standards during field operations.
Required Qualifications
+ Current Asbestos Inspector OR NYS EPA Lead Inspector license (in good standing) OR
+ Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Public Health, or related field.
+ 1–2+ years of field or lab experience in environmental inspections.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
+ NYS Asbestos Inspector certification.
+ Familiarity with lead-safe work practices and environmental sampling methods.
+ Experience using field inspection software and data collection tools.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
