Job Title: Quality Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and production quality, focusing on metal fabrication and compliance with quality standards.
Responsibilities
+ Apply preventive tools for process control based on the analysis of indicators in the area.
+ Audit processes, product, and quality systems to verify compliance with established regulations and quality standards.
+ Conduct customer inspection visits to the plant to demonstrate compliance with product specifications.
+ Generate control indicators to prioritize and monitor failures or deviations that require quick resolution.
+ Implement process improvement and corrective actions based on the analysis of failures in key product variables, quality issues, and customer complaints.
+ Document, maintain, and update process FMEAs.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
+ 5+ years of experience in manufacturing/production quality.
+ Proficiency in GD&T - Metal Fabrication.
+ Expertise in Root Cause Analysis.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 3 years of experience in production quality.
+ Familiarity with Statistical Process Control.
+ Experience in KPI Management.
+ Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
+ Understanding of Underwriters Laboratories (UL) standards.
Work Environment
The work environment involves collaborating within a manufacturing setting, focusing on quality control and compliance. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet quality standards and customer expectations. Dress code is business casual, and safety gear may be required in certain areas of the facility.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
