Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the transportation and handling of goods within our warehouse, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

+ Transport bags of seed to the shipping area.

+ Load and unload trucks efficiently.

+ Utilize paper pick sheets for order processing.

+ Operate a forklift for palletizing tasks.

+ Maintain excellent verbal and written communication.

Essential Skills

+ Proficient in forklift operation with at least 1 year of experience.

+ Ability to lift 30-50 lbs repetitively and up to 60 lbs occasionally.

+ At least 6 months of previous physical labor work experience.

+ 1 year of experience in order picking and shipping.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with inventory control and material handling.

+ Proficiency with RF scanners and data entry.

+ Familiarity with bills of lading and pallet jack operation.

Work Environment

Work in a clean and organized warehouse and production facility. The environment can be colder during winter and hotter during summer, and it may get dusty at times. Although it is not temperature-controlled, the facility is well-maintained and equipped with racking and seed bags. Standard working hours are from 7 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WEST FARGO, North Dakota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
