Job Title: Process Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Process Technician to join our team, responsible for optimizing and maintaining injection molding processes. The role involves working with manufacturing equipment to reduce downtime and improve efficiency while ensuring product quality. The ideal candidate will have a extensive experience in manufacturing and a keen eye for process improvement.
Responsibilities
+ Work with injection molding machines and secondary equipment to address tooling issues and reduce downtime.
+ Monitor process and product quality during tooling operations.
+ Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to enhance process efficiency and reduce scrap.
+ Participate in improving tool changeover times and identifying molding problems related to tooling.
+ Maintain tooling and equipment through the TPM Program and record downtime and scrap details.
+ Address minor processing issues and work flexibly to meet customer demands.
+ Ensure safe operations during mold changes, color changes, and crane or robot movements.
Essential Skills
+ Technical diploma, preferably in injection molding.
+ At least 3 years of manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment.
+ Minimum 1 year as a Process Technician in injection molding with medium tonnage machines.
+ Experience in operating overhead cranes and knowledge of fabrication techniques.
+ Proficient in English with strong technical problem-solving and communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with Sepro and Husky injection molding machines.
+ Understanding of polymers and resins, especially Polypropylene, TPO, ABS, PCABS, Nylon, and Glass-filled PP.
+ Basic knowledge of injection molding machine operations, including Kanban systems.
+ Ability to troubleshoot common molding issues such as sink marks, short shots, and splay.
+ Familiarity with tools like screwdrivers, Allen wrenches, and mallets.

Work Environment
Work in a 750,000 square foot, clean, and updated facility built in 2012. The plant operates across three shifts with approximately 1,000 employees. The environment is fast-paced, requiring immediate machine repairs as needed. The facility is air-conditioned and heated, ensuring a comfortable work environment year-round. Shifts include A Crew (Monday-Thursday 6:00am-6:00pm), B Crew (Tuesday-Friday 6:00pm-6:00am), and C Crew (Friday-Saturday 6:00am-6:00pm, Sunday-Monday 6:00pm-6:00am), with a training period on A Crew.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $54080.00/yr.
