Job Title: Assembly Technician - All Shifts
Job Description
Join a leading telecommunications company specializing in providing software platforms, systems, and services to support broadband delivery. We are seeking dedicated Assembly Technicians to be part of our dynamic team.
Responsibilities
+ Assemble components and parts with precision and attention to detail.
+ Utilize hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and drills for assembly tasks.
+ Perform troubleshooting and repair tasks, including soldering and working with electronics.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 'clean room' style production environment standards.
+ Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines, including working overtime as necessary.
Essential Skills
+ At least 1+ year of assembly experience in a manufacturing setting.
+ Minimum of 6+ months of experience using common hand tools.
+ Basic computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Mechanical experience, such as car maintenance or home renovations.
+ Soldering experience with tools and electronics repair.
+ Experience with circuit board assembly.

Work Environment
Work in a 'clean room' style production environment where all floor workers wear special shoe inserts to prevent static charge. Join a team of over 50 people working collaboratively in a space with designated walkways and restricted areas. Be prepared for project-based deadlines that may require overtime. Shifts available are from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM and 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM, with potential for 10-hour shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn Hills, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $18.50/hr.
