    Job Title: Router Operator

    Job Description

    We are seeking dedicated Router Operators to join our team. As a Router Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a CNC Router in accordance with specific job requirements. You will be part of a team that values continuous improvement and collaboration. This role involves working closely with the fabrication team and reporting to the supervisor over Fabrication.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop product knowledge of materials in the department.

    + Plan new setups and call up proper programs.

    + Operate the machine, load and unload parts following the matching cycle, and check work for required operations and specifications.

    + Communicate with the detailing department on job specifications.

    + Maintain a clean and tidy workspace.

    + Meet all company and industry safety requirements.

    + Identify any defective items and handle them according to established procedures.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + 1-2 years of experience with fabrication/router operation.

    + Ability to read a tape measure up to 1/16th of an inch.

    + Ability to bend and stoop frequently while picking up products weighing up to 25 lbs.

    + Detail-oriented and consistent.

    + Good communication skills.

    + Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.

    + Basic abilities in math, reading, and writing.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Lean experience preferred.

    + Packaging and inspection skills.

    + Ability to operate a sit-down forklift is a plus.

    + Experience working in the sign industry is a plus.

    Work Environment

     

    This position is based in a standard manufacturing facility that is non-climate controlled. The environment can be loud, requiring earplugs for certain tasks. The regular work schedule is from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with current operations running on an overtime schedule from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and 6 AM to 2:30 PM on Saturdays.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delaware, Ohio.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
