Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a Dual Craft Maintenance Technician with a strong emphasis on electrical skills, capable of handling voltages up to 480 volts. We welcome candidates with varying levels of experience as long as they possess expertise in electrical maintenance. This position operates on a third shift with training provided on the day shift. The schedule follows a 2-2-3 pattern from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM in a non-union facility.
Responsibilities
+ Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) in warehouse or production areas.
+ Ensure compliance with food quality and safety standards as specified by corporate, customer, and governing bodies.
+ Report problems with the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) to managerial employees for corrective actions.
+ Perform and complete repair maintenance, preventive maintenance, and line changeovers.
+ Troubleshoot machinery for electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic malfunctions.
+ Maintain production supporting equipment such as glycol, RO, compressed air, lubrication, and chemical distribution systems.
+ Use innovative thinking to troubleshoot equipment, minimize production downtime, and ensure safety and quality.
+ Complete, document, and obtain approvals on work orders, recording all part numbers used for inventory.
+ Communicate maintenance and production information effectively from shift to shift.
+ Assist in training other maintenance personnel.
+ Collaborate with production during downtime and work with adjacent teams to resolve issues and drive improvement.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in electrical maintenance up to 480 volts.
+ Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
+ Ability to perform maintenance on production supporting equipment.
+ Excellent communication skills for effective shift handovers.

Work Environment
This role is based in a food manufacturing plant. The environment requires adherence to strict safety and quality standards, with a focus on minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth production operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sikeston, Missouri.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr.
