Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Worker

Job Description

A manufacturer located in the eastern Indianapolis region is seeking a dedicated Material Handler/Forklift Operator for the 1st shift in the shipping department. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient handling and processing of materials within the shipping area.

Responsibilities

+ Manually pick orders based on a pick ticket.

+ Regularly use RF scanner to track inventory.

+ Utilize wrapping machine to prepare items for shipment.

+ Conduct quality inspections of final shipments to ensure all items are accurate.

+ Use Microsoft applications on the computer for various tasks.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in shipping and receiving.

+ Proficiency with RF scanners.

+ Ability to operate as a Forklift Spotter.

+ Competence in picking orders and managing inventory.

+ Skills in using pallet jacks and forklifts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with Bill of Lading (BOL).

+ Experience as a Material Handler.

+ Knowledge in Shipping/Receiving processes.

This is a Contract position based out of Greenfield, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
