    Job Description

    The Assembler will demonstrate proficiency in performing high-quality work consistently and efficiently. This role involves reading blueprints and schematics, using hand and power tools, and executing mechanical assembly. The Assembler is responsible for performing manufacturing operations on assemblies, subassemblies, and electro-mechanical assemblies with moderate to difficult complexity. Collaboration with personnel from other departments such as Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Materials may be required.

    Responsibilities

    + Demonstrate proficiency in performing high-quality work consistently and efficiently.

    + Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

    + Utilize hand and power tools for mechanical assembly.

    + Perform manufacturing operations on assemblies, subassemblies, and electro-mechanical assemblies of moderate to difficult complexity.

    + Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and Materials departments as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools.

    + Ability to read mechanical drawings.

    + Good oral and written communication skills.

    + Visual alertness and manual dexterity.

    + Ability to work from established drawings.

    + Experience in a contract manufacturing environment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with electro-mechanical manufacturing capabilities.

    + Familiarity with assembling conveyors, complex military/defense box builds, UL508a control panels, and large mechanical systems.

    Work Environment

     

    Our facility offers a fast-paced contract manufacturing environment, providing turnkey electronics manufacturing solutions. The work involves electro-mechanical manufacturing, including assembling conveyors, military/defense box builds, UL508a control panels, large mechanical systems, and cable/wire harnesses. Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 4 pm. Flexibility is essential as projects may vary daily.

    This is a Contract to Hire position.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
