    Description

    Robert Half Permanent Placement is partnering with a leading global manufacturer in Tonawanda, NY on their search for an Accounts Receivable Associate to join their team. In this role you will be a critical resource and support for managing incoming payments and ensuring accurate processing of invoices. This is a hybrid role with 4 days in-office and Friday’s remote! Starting salary is $52,000 - $56,000 based on experience and includes an excellent benefits package. If you are looking for an opportunity with excellent upward mobility, this could be a great fit!

    Responsibilities include but not limited to:

    + Perform business-to-business collections activities, including follow-up with customers and coordination with sales and service teams to resolve invoicing or payment discrepancies

    + Prepare and analyze Accounts Receivable Aging reports to monitor outstanding balances and identify collection priorities

    + Collaborate with the Finance and Commercial teams to review past-due accounts and develop collection strategies

    + Partner with international colleagues to support cash application processes and address daily cash reconciliation issues

    + Maintain detailed records of collection activities and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

    + Assist with process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of receivables management

    Requirements

    + 1–2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a related accounting role with a solid understanding of finance and bookkeeping principles

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with Oracle, BPCS, or D365 preferred

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across remote sites

    + Highly organized and detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks
