Description

Robert Half is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our client's team in the Greater Philadelphia area. This Bookkeeper role requires an individual who is experienced in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in transactions, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. If you have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, particularly within services requiring attention to detail, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

+ Maintain and update financial records with accuracy and attention to detail.

+ Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.

+ Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between financial records and statements.

+ Utilize QuickBooks software to manage and track financial activities.

+ Generate detailed financial reports to assist in decision-making and strategy development.

+ Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and resolve financial issues.

+ Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.

+ Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial processes.

Requirements

The ideal Bookkeeper candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree with Accounting or Finance Concentration

Other requirements for the Bookkeeper position include and are not limited to:

+ 5+ years of experience

+ Professional services industry experience preferred (Ideally Legal industry)

+ QuickBooks experience required

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications.

+ Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
