Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Join a leading company in the foodservice industry, known for developing and marketing high-quality products with innovative packaging solutions. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines and equipment. You will be responsible for performing preventative and predictive maintenance on various systems and components, predominantly focusing on mechanical aspects with some electrical work involved.

Responsibilities

+ Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production lines, conveyor systems, cappers, fillers, labelers, palletizing equipment, boilers, and wastewater systems.

+ Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC motor drives and mechanical components such as rollers, belts, bushels, bearings, and gear boxes.

+ Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to diagnose issues.

+ Utilize knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics for maintenance tasks.

+ Conduct PLC troubleshooting and repairs.

+ Apply experience in the food, flavor, beverage, and/or packaging industry to enhance maintenance procedures.

+ Troubleshoot and repair pumps, boilers, and compressors.

Essential Skills

+ At least 5 years of maintenance experience.

+ Experience with 480 Volt electrical systems.

+ Proficiency in troubleshooting and fixing AC/DC motor drives.

+ Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.

+ Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ PLC troubleshooting experience.

+ Experience in the food, flavor, beverage, and/or packaging industry.

+ Knowledge of boilers and compressors.

+ Experience in troubleshooting and repairing pumps.

+ Any relevant education or certifications are highly regarded.

Work Environment

Work in a structured environment with shifts that switch every 30 days, working Monday through Thursday or Friday through Monday from 6 PM to 6 AM. The dress code includes jeans or work pants without holes, a solid t-shirt or polo, safety glasses, and steel toe boots. Uniforms will be provided.

This is a Permanent position based out of Walton, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $58240.00/yr.
