    CNC Machinist

    Job Description

    Join a dynamic fabrication company located in Terrell, Texas, operating from a newly constructed 85,000 square foot facility. Specializing in engineering, manufacturing, and selling metal fabricated parts, we cater to specific clients in the construction and food and beverage industries.

    Responsibilities

    + Program, set up, and operate milling machines with a minimum of 3 years of experience.

    + Create G Code programs at the machine based on the part's print.

    + Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing on work-related documents.

    + Apply knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and costs to maximize effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

    + Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments.

    + Prepare G Code programs at the machine based on the prints.

    + Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, etc.

    + Measure, examine, and test completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications using precision instruments such as CMM, calipers, bore gauges, and micrometers.

    + Set up, adjust, and operate all basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools to perform precision machining operations.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum 3 years of CNC machine experience.

    + Ability to program G Code at the machine based on the part's print.

    + Proficiency in setting up and inputting programs onto CNC machines.

    + Experience with operating CNC machines including laser systems, mills, and lathes.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to conduct inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.

    + Positive attitude, self-driven, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and further develop skills.

    + Ability to identify problems, present solutions, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy.

    This is a Contract position based out of Terrell, Texas.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
