    Position Summary:

    The Automation Technician / PLC Programmer will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining automated equipment and PLC systems. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong technical skills and a passion for problem-solving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Install, program, and maintain PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)

    + Troubleshoot and repair electrical and automation systems

    + Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to improve equipment performance

    + Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation

    + Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance

    + Assist in the design and implementation of automation projects

    + Maintain accurate records of work performed and system changes

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred

    + 3+ years of experience in industrial automation and PLC programming

    + Proficiency with ladder logic and HMI programming

    + Strong understanding of electrical systems, sensors, and controls

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    + Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
