Job Title: Refrigeration Installer- Roanoke, VA

Pay $20 - $24/hr. depending on experience

Job Description

As a Refrigeration Installer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and installation of HVAC-R systems. Your expertise in brazing, evacuating air and non-condensable gases, and configuring piping networks will be invaluable in setting up and maintaining climate control and refrigeration equipment.

Responsibilities

+ Safely join pipes using brazing techniques to create durable, leak-proof connections.

+ Evacuate air and non-condensable gases from systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent moisture contamination.

+ Install and configure piping networks for refrigerants, water, and other fluids in HVAC-R systems.

+ Set up climate control and refrigeration equipment, including air conditioners, heat pumps, and walk-in coolers.

+ Diagnose issues and perform repairs on malfunctioning systems to restore full functionality.

+ Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations, including proper refrigerant handling per EPA guidelines.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration installation.

+ Proficiency in refrigeration skills, including brazing, pulling vacuums, and running pipe.

+ Knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting for HVAC and refrigeration systems.

+ Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.

+ OSHA 10 or 30 certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ CFC card preferred.

Work Environment

Work Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm, with opportunities for overtime. Be prepared to work in both indoor and outdoor climates and undergo random drug testing on-site if needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
