What you will do for Siemens Smart Infrastructure:
The Commercial Project Manager (CPM) is responsible for
commercial aspects related to customer contracts—from the sales phase to
execution, to project completion. Responsibilities encompass sales controlling,
performance measurement, planning, forecasting, and reporting. The CPM will
partner with Customers, Suppliers, Project Managers, Engineers, Sales,
Procurement, Legal Finance colleagues, and internal and external Auditors.
**We are looking for a Commercial Project Manager to joinour team in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. For highly qualified candidates, remotework may also be considered.** The
candidate must have a strong business acumen, communication skills for
collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and provide financial
leadership in this role. The position reports to the Commercial Lead of
Programs Vertical.
Responsibilities:
Project Controlling:
+ Fullownership of project P&L responsibility and cash flow performance.
+ Responsibilitiesincluding volume and profitability monitoring and ensuring cost over-runsare addressed.
+ Leadproject status reviews and NCC Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to ensurefeedback is provided to key stakeholders.
+ Prepareaccurate Forecast of Profit and Loss Statement, Statement of FinancialPosition (balance sheet), and Cash Flow on a yearly and monthly basisanalyzing and keeping record of FC assumptions to explain deviations tomake sure forecast goals are attained.
+ Collaboratewith Factory/Operations to ensure profitability deviations between plannedand actual cost are identified and corrective measures are executed.
Risk Management:
+ Partnerwith key stakeholders in identifying, reporting, avoiding or mitigatingnon-conformance costs; supports the implementation of lessons learned intoown project and the organization in general.
+ Activemanagement of risk registry to ensure financial recognition of businessexposure.
**Commercial** :
+ Act ascommercial partner to Project Management Organization educating projectmanagers in financial and compliance topics.
+ Ensureeffective communication with all relevant internal and externalstakeholders such as Business Management, customers, suppliers.
+ Ensuringproactive management of backlog and optimization of milestone schedule tomaximize free cash flow.
+ SupportPMO in dispute management.
+ Seekout opportunities for digitalization in finance to promote innovationwithin our standard reporting and closing processes.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor'sdegree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or related Businessdegree.
+ 3 plusyears working in a finance role with knowledge of Accounting principles inalignment with Financial Reporting Guidelines, International FinancialReporting Guidelines and US GAAP.
+ Proficientin SAP
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experiencein Financial Planning and Controlling.
+ Abilityto read and interpret contract conditions.
+ Understandingof Percentage of Completion accounting method and project controllingrequirements (accurate risk and opportunity management).
+ Demonstratedability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fluid environmentwith strong detail orientation.
+ Stronginterpersonal and communication skills.
+ Demonstratedability to lead reporting process improvements with digitalization toolssuch as but not limited to Tableau and Knime Analytics.
+ MBA oradvanced degree
+ 5+ years of experience leading projects in financial/commercial capacity.

The pay range for this position is $73,500 - $126,000. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
