Job Requisition: REQ 3993 Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: Rotating Hours Per Week: 40 hours
Hiring Range: $19.30- $25.83
The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Responsibilities:
• Supervises the daily activities of subordinates and assigns responsibility for specific work or functional activities.
Orients and trains new employees.
• Conducts selection interviewing and makes recommendations for hiring, promotions and transfers.
Monitors employee performance and production; participates in performance activities.
• Works with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution.
• Ensures departmental compliance with applicable regulations, internal/external standards, policies and procedures.
• Assists manager in planning, organizing and directing operations of the department.
Participates in planning of menus and specialized diets. Complexity of Work:
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
Preferred Credential(s): • Food Service Professional credentialed from the ServSafe National Restaurant Association.
Education: • High school diploma or GED required One (1) year experience required
