    Job Description

    Now hiring Quality Inspector for a full-time temporary to permanent position in Norwood, MA.

    Responsibilities of Quality Inspector:

    - Inspect Incoming Materials received from vendors for approval

     

    -Reject and return unacceptable materials

     

    - Perform First Article inspection

     

    -Communicate required adjustments to production department supervisor before final approval

     

    - Inspect finished products by confirming specifications

     

    -Conduct visual and measurement test

     

    -Returning products for re-work

     

    -Escalate any quality issues to quality manager or production manager

     

    -Maintain all necessary documentation and logs

     

    -perform other general manufacturing related tasks as assigned

    Requirements of Quality Inspector:

    -Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent

     

    Must have past experience in Quality control and/or quality assurance

     

    -Previous manufacturing, wire and cable harness, and electrotechnical assemblies experience preferred

     

    -Able to follow both written and verbal instructions

     

    -Excellent Hand eye coordination and attention to detail

     

    -Great communication and computer skills

     

    -Ability to read tape measure that just has the ticks

     

    -Good Organizational and time management skills

     

    -Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs on regular basis, 50 lbs on occasion

    Hours: 7:00am-3:30 pm Monday-Friday

    Pay Rate: $18.00-$21.00/hr
