Job Title: Accounting Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist responsible for ensuring the timely resolution of invoice quantity discrepancies by collaborating with suppliers, part centers, and purchasing departments. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to reconciling statements and resolving invoice-related issues.

Responsibilities

+ Resolve invoice quantity discrepancies by interfacing with suppliers, part centers, and purchasing departments.

+ Obtain and reconcile 100% of statements from assigned suppliers.

+ Accurately resolve and document invoice-related receiving discrepancies in a timely manner.

+ Enter supplier pack lists within three days of receipt.

+ Manage mail and memo distribution.

+ Generate daily outstanding receiver pending payment reports.

+ Perform account reconciliations.

+ Assist the inventory department by matching invoices and purchase orders and coding them into the system.

+ Process high volume of invoices.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in account reconciliation and invoice processing.

+ Experience with high volume transactions.

+ Strong skills in Excel, including V Look-up.

+ Familiarity with SAP and ERP systems.

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

+ 1-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Open to learning new processes and systems.

Work Environment

This role is 100% on-site and provides an opportunity to gain valuable experience and potentially transition into other Accounting & Finance roles. The position includes a three-month maternity leave coverage.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Torrance, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
