    Description

    The Technical Support Specialist will assist with onboarding, vetting, and managing user access for multiple applications and programs in accordance with client contract requirements. The Technical Support Specialist will route service requests and incidents after documented troubleshooting and triaging procedures are complete.

     

    The Technical Support Specialist will complete identified tasks, review user access audits to identify and enforce security of the systems and information assets to protect against modification, destruction, or unauthorized access. It is the job of the Technical Support Specialist to identify vulnerabilities to protect data assets while recommending solutions and best practices. This position provides monitoring of application and URL availability and performance, while assisting with initial gathering of required information to triage any service degradation or outages. The Technical Support Specialist will facilitate the communication, tracking, and completion of weekly planned maintenance for customer owned services. This work is supported by phone, email, in person, online meetings and chat.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    Must be able to use multiple systems or applications, type a minimum or 35-40 WPM, while speaking with customers.

     

    Has foundational knowledge of Identify and Access Management and Network Operations. Basic understanding of ITIL or basic understanding of IT infrastructure.

     

    Knowledge of industry trends (i.e., Next Gen AWS, ServiceNow, HARP, Office 365).

     

    Experience with contractor onboarding, support and deployment of new applications and services.

     

    Intermediate understanding of security issues, techniques, and implications across multiple platforms.

    Demonstrated ability and experience:

    Working independently and/or in a team environment

     

    Managing customer relationships

     

    Meeting time sensitive deadlines

     

    Making sound decisions and exercising sound judgment

     

    Strong customer service skills in problem solving, verbal/written communications, and interpersonal skills with a high attention to detail.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
