+ As the **Senior Finance Manager, CFT Commercial Revenue** , you will lead **bookings forecasting and analytics** while partnering on **incentive compensation design and modeling** and delivering insights for our **Productivity & Business Processes segment** . You’ll help tell the story of our productivity, professional network, and Copilot offerings for senior leadership, investors, and the Board of Directors. This position requires close collaboration with Finance, HR, and Sales teams to design frameworks, analyze performance, and provide forward-looking insights into revenue health.

Responsibilities
+ Lead financial analysis for Microsoft’s Commercial businesses across close, forecast, and budget cycles, supporting external guidance for the Productivity & Business Processes (PBP) segment.
+ Co-lead Commercial Bookings forecasting and analytics, improving accuracy, identifying key drivers, and evolving models to reflect business changes, acquisitions, and new frameworks.
+ Partner with Finance, HR, and Sales leadership to design and model incentive compensation frameworks, ensuring alignment with business priorities and compliance requirements.
+ Provide insights on compensation effectiveness and forecast incentive payouts, delivering recommendations that optimize cost-to-revenue ratios and drive desired business outcomes.
+ Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly executive-level reporting for senior leadership, investors, and the Board of Directors, integrating data into clear, actionable narratives.
+ Analyze business drivers such as market trends, competitive dynamics, subscriber growth, and pricing to inform strategic decisions.
+ Collaborate across CFT and Engineering Group Finance teams to understand results, drivers, and outlook, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
+ Leverage advanced analytics and technology to uncover trends and identify levers that impact Microsoft’s Commercial business performance.
+ Support special projects requiring high judgment and cross-group collaboration in ambiguous environments.
+ Foster an inclusive and collaborative team culture, demonstrating clear and concise communication and executive presence.
+ Ensure compliance with Microsoft policies on risk and finance reporting, while continuously improving processes and reporting frameworks.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
+ Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR
+ Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.
+ 2+ years of experience navigating ambiguity and fast-paced change, leveraging systems thinking and strategic problem-solving while working independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
+ 2+ years work experience with core Microsoft financial analysis, planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
+ 2+ years work experience with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis) and demonstrated ability to perform accurate financial calculations.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
+ Masters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience OR
+ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance work experience OR equivalent experience.
+ 1+ year(s) experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles.
+ 1+ year(s) work experience in matrix-based organization.
+ 1+ year(s) work experience in the technology or software industry.
+ 1+ year(s) experience applying AI agents in finance-related applications.
Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
