    Job Title: Production Associate – Level I (Disassembly, Cleaning & Inspection) Location: Commerce City CO / Pay Rate: $23.50 per hour Job Summary:

     

    The Production Associate operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity standards in a manufacturing environment. This role involves assisting in the teardown of high-horsepower diesel engines, rotating through the disassembly, cleaning, and inspection stages to prepare parts for the next step in production.

    Key Responsibilities: Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE):

    + Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards.

    + Report all work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards.

    + Comply with all HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.

    + Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

    + Promote a culture of safety and interdependence by looking out for one another.

    + Correct hazards within your control and capabilities.

    + Recognize and minimize environmental impacts of your work.

    + Actively participate in HSE training.

    Quality:

    + Follow all standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures (e.g., SPC, poka-yoke, visual standards).

    + Identify and report issues to reduce cost and quality risks.

    + Perform quality inspections and control non-conforming materials.

    Production:

    + Achieve production goals at the required cycle time or engineering standard.

    + Maintain a clean and orderly work area, performing regular housekeeping and machine maintenance.

    + Stay flexible and perform additional duties as needed to meet production objectives.

    + Collaborate with peers, skilled trades, and support staff to identify and report equipment needing repair.

    Teamwork:

    + Communicate effectively with your team and support departments.

    + Complete all required training and personal development activities.

    + Participate in initiatives to improve quality, safety, process efficiency, and employee growth.
