    As a Machine Shop Hourly here at Honeywell, you will be an essential part of our machining operations, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently while adhering to quality standards. Your role will involve operating machinery, performing quality checks, and collaborating with team members to meet production goals.

     

    You will report directly to our Operations Manager and you’ll work out of our Boyne City, MI location on a On-site work schedule.

     

    In this role, you will impact the overall productivity of our machining operations, helping to ensure that we meet customer demands while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Operate and maintain various types of machining equipment to produce high-quality parts.

    + Perform routine quality checks and inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.

    + Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.

    YOU MUST HAVE

    + Proven experience in a machining environment.

    + Strong knowledge of machining processes and equipment.

    + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

    + Familiarity with quality control standards and practices.

    + Proficient in the use of hand tools and measuring instruments.

    WE VALUE

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Experience in a manufacturing or machining role.

    + Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.

    + Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in machining.
