CTG is seeking to fill a System Engineer – AI & Data Platform Support position for our client in Albany, NY.

**Duration:** 8 months

Duties:

+ Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for AI & Data Platform users in the semiconductor industry.

+ Monitor and troubleshoot pipelines, workflows, and AI services in production.

+ Automate recurring tasks to improve operational efficiency.

+ Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and developers for model deployment.

+ Maintain system documentation, runbooks, and incident response guidelines.

+ Support platform upgrades, patches, and configuration.

+ Ensure data pipelines are scalable, secure, and compliant.

+ Assist in capacity planning, performance tuning, and resource optimization.

+ Act as a liaison between platform infrastructure and AI/data development teams.

Skills:

+ Scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell)

+ Data/AI platforms, including Data Lake Houses (IBM watsonx a plus)

+ Cloud services, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes; IBM OpenShift a plus)

+ CI/CD pipelines for ML and data workflows

+ Debugging and troubleshooting distributed systems

+ Data engineering workflows (ETL/ELT, batch, streaming)

+ Monitoring tools, data governance, security, and compliance

+ Infrastructure and hardware troubleshooting

+ Strong collaboration and growth mindset

+ Manufacturing domain experience a plus

Experience:

+ Proven operational support experience in AI/Data platforms

+ Hands-on experience with distributed systems and production pipelines

Education:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
