Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPERVISORY SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST, Position Description Number T5289000 and is part of the UNITED STATES PROPERTY AND FISCAL OFFICE, National Guard. This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants. Veterans' preference does not apply to this vacancy due to internal merit promotion. Responsibilities As a SUPERVISORY SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST, GS-2003-09, you will plan, organize, review, evaluate and supervise the work of the branch office and to perform analysis of supply procedures, services, directives and management functions of the branch. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training which has provided the applicant with a general knowledge of one or more aspects of the supply field. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1 year equivalent to at least next lower grade level. Experience analyzing, developing, evaluating to improve supply programs, policies, procedures, techniques, etc. Experience involving the control of supply stocks and accounting for equipment. Knowledge of supply functions, cataloging, maintenance, and disposal procedures. Experience in cost estimates, budgets, or funding management. Experience conducting extensive searches for required information; reconstruct records for complex supply transactions; and/or provide supply operations support. Experience requiring person-to-person contacts to convey information and ability to compile reports, letters, memoranda, etc. Experience in reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting supply directives and procedures. Must have experience in analyzing recommendations and issuing written or verbal instructions to insure units achieve maximum readiness posture. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel. Education If using education to qualify, Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree You must provide a copy of Official Transcripts as documentation to support your educational claims.
