What You'll Do

As an MRI/CT Tech Assistant, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth workflow for our imaging technologists. Your day-to-day will include:

+ Welcoming and preparing patients for imaging exams, assisting with paperwork, and ensuring accurate documentation.

+ Escorting patients to dressing areas and helping them feel comfortable and informed.

+ Conducting MRI safety screenings and assisting with patient positioning, padding, and setup under the direction of a technologist.

+ Assisting with IV placement and preparing contrast materials as directed.

+ Supporting patient transfers to and from exam tables and monitoring patients as needed.

+ Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including assisting with equipment checks and daily quality control.

+ Transporting patients and ensuring rooms are properly prepared for the next procedure.

+ High school diploma or equivalent required.

+ At least one-year of previous healthcare experience required.

+ Medical terminology and recent medical/imaging office experience preferred. IV insertion experience preferred. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

+ CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire
