The Opportunity ...

This opportunity is with JBT Marles's Fresh Produce Technologies division. We supply products and services to fresh fruit and vegetable packers to ensure these valuable crops arrive in a fresh and appealing condition to the consumer.

TheBlender is a valuable ally to fresh produce packers, and an important part of the team that is helping bring fresh, healthy fruits and vegetables to the world's table.

On a given day, you may:

+ Weigh and add ingredients to kettles (Liquid & Dry Raw Materials) for each batch of product according to the product formulation.

+ Must be comfortable working with large machinery, boilers, kettles, mixers, burners, and drums/pallets of a variety of chemicals

+ Accurately and neatly complete required batch sheet/work-order documentation.

+ Maintain Equipment, Pumps, Motors, Valves ETC in good working condition by proper storge, sanitizing and minor maintenance as required.

+ Follow all GMP, SOP and Food Safety (SQF) Production guidelines.

+ Collect new product samples and perform initial QC product testing to ensure product meets established QC parameters.

Requirements for the role

+ High School Diploma or Equivalent

+ Mechanical ability Chemical blending experience

+ Field packing house experience

+ Familiarity with JBT products

Travel & Location

+ You will be based at JBT Marel, in Riverside, CA

Compensation Range:

$25.00 hr- $35.00 hr. Compensation is determined on experience and skill. This job description is a general description of essential job functions.
