Position: Radiology Tech
Position Overview
As a Radiology Technologist at Novant Health, you will:
+ Prepare patients and operate x-ray equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
+ Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures.
+ Ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards.
+ Provide exceptional patient care, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
+ Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality healthcare services.
Skills & Abilities:
+ Thorough knowledge of radiographic equipment and accessories.
+ Analytical ability and basic computer skills.
+ Ability to modify care according to patient age-specific needs.
+ Strong communication skills.
+ Capable of functioning independently in diagnostic rooms.
+ Working knowledge of various types of x-ray equipment.
+ Adaptability to various situations and procedures.

Qualifications
+ Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program, required.
+ Experience: One year experience in diagnostic radiology, preferred.
+ Licensure/Certification: NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography - RT(R) Required NH Medical Group Office Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography - RT(R) , required.
+ Additional Skills Required : T horough knowledge of radiographic equipment and accessories. Analytical ability and basic computer skills. Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient(s) age. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Good communication skills, capable of functioning alone in diagnostic rooms, working knowledge of various types of x-ray equipment, able to adapt to various situations and procedures.
+ Additional Skills/Requirements (preferred)
+ NH Medical Registry-eligible in Radiography by ARRT
+ Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography - RT(Required
+ Required within 6 months of hire
+ NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient
+ Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography - RT(Required
