    JOB SUMMARY

    Leads and implements the tactical and strategic management and planning of enterprise hardware, software, and cloud services within the organization through Asset, Vendor, and FinOps management. Monitors and records software and hardware entitlements, utilization, and renewals, to establish an effective licensing position to ensure compliance with vendor contracts and leads maintenance and support renewal activities. Develops and implements control points for the governance of IT assets throughout the asset lifecycle. Provides support to ensure valid inventory information, renewal contract status, and financial impact to the IT maintenance budget to include the proper allocation of those costs to IT services and Cost of Ownership. Manages the administration and strategic lifecycle for all financial elements of hardware, software licensing, and cloud services through asset, vendor, and FinOps management. Establishes corporate standards and procedures to ensure compliance with contractual agreements, and adherence to legal guidelines for managing technology hardware and software assets, and cloud services.

    + May provide recommendations regarding issues outside the bounds of defined procedures and practices. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

    + Wide latitude for decisions within assignments, programs and projects; impact is generally limited to the project or department.

    + Acts as a resource to advise and may at times lead the work of lower level professional and/or support employees. Generally, represents the department on projects and may perform in a project leadership role.

    ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES

    Level Senior and Lead – Above + Serves as a Subject Matter Expert for software licensing strategic planning and works on difficult IT asset management issues where analysis of the situation requires and in-depth evaluation of variable factors

     

    + Owns hardware and software compliance process, acting as primary contact for asset audits and internal compliance monitoring

    + Owns cloud services cost management, acting as primary contact for enabling data-driven decision making, and creates financial accountability through collaboration between engineering, finance, and business teams (FinOps)

    + Accountable for governance over ITAM control procedures

    + Develops and manages processes and procedures using business process analysis abilities to create, implement, and optimize software requests and license management processes.

    + Develops strategies and proposals for technology spending across the organization.

    + Participates in the development and maintenance of the IT Service Catalog, IT Cost of Ownership, and service delivery cost models and benchmarking activities.

    EXPERIENCE

    + Requires minimum 8 years job related work experience in excess of degree requirements

    + Requires minimum 8 years of experience in IT Asset Management Programs

    + Requires advanced knowledge of Excel and its use for financial and statistical functions and applications

    + Preferred minimum two years ServiceNow HAM/SAM Pro

    + Preferred minimum two years Microsoft Power BI

    EDUCATION

    + Bachelor's Degree : Computer Science, Business or related field (Required)

    + or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge to a major in such fields is required

    CERTIFICATION

    + CITAM Certified IT Asset Manager (Preferred)

    + ITIL Foundation (Preferred)

    + FP&A (Preferred)

    + CMA Certified Management Accountant (Preferred)

    WORK LOCATION – Taylor, TX:

    + Employees will be required to be on-site in Taylor, TX at minimum 2 days per week, or more, as needed based on the business needs as determined by management

    + On-site schedules are flexible or may be rotated based on business needs as determined by the Manager

    + Remote work is required to be performed from your Texas residence.

    + Employees may opt to work on-site more than required or 100% of the time

    Expected Salary Range:

    $99,230 - $168,715
