Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Machine Operator - 3rd Shift.
The hours for this role are 11pm-7am
The hourly rate for this position is $20.00 per hour.

What you’ll do:
Primary Functions:
+ Review work order or schedule established by team leader
+ Ensure Parts are correctly packed in a timely manner and according to applicable specifications
+ Ensure Parts are properly marked using ETCH marking machine
+ Operate measurement devices, labeling, Oven/Sealing machines
+ Fold boxes and place product in boxes for shipment
+ Bag and assemble parts in the clean room (Class 100 and Class 10,000)
+ Keep area clean and orderly
+ Log-on to the computer and scan work order
+ Read and understand process sheet/blueprint
+ Process parts through machining
+ Measure seals using tools such as micrometers, pi tape, gauge, venires, etc. by checking dimensions as indicated on the blueprints.
+ Place completed seals on the rack and take finished product to designated area
+ Document and control dimensions using statistical process control
+ Complete and maintain production line logs
+ Participate in lean and 5S+ activities, as required
+ Follow shop environmental and safety procedures, including proper personal protection equipment at all times
+ Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
+ H.S. Diploma or GED required
+ Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English
+ This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
+ No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate Beltsville area (50 miles) will be considered for this position.

+ Minimum of one (1) years’ experience in manufacturing processes
Skills:
Position Criteria:
+ Ability to perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute percentages, area, circumference, and volume; draw and interpret bar graphs
+ Capability to solve problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where limited standardization exists through communication and teamwork
+ Knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures and equipment, OSHA regulations, manufacturing methods, routings, and standards
+ Able to multitask
+ Dependable, able to work in a team environment
+ Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision
+ Willing to work overtime and weekends when needed
+ Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office Software
+ Must be able to lift up to 35lbs on a regular basis
