Job Description Summary
The Program Coordinator coordinates and oversees the planning, development and implementation of youth health curriculum targeting students in grades 9-12.
Responsibilities
+ Designs and implements programs to facilitate program goals.
+ Plans and implements program events such as conferences, seminars, lectures, meetings and workshops.
+ Develops and oversees project timelines.
+ Coordinates program communications and marketing.
+ May assist in proposal preparation, submission and reporting.
+ Compiles and analyzes program statistics.
+ May develop and update training materials and deliver training sessions.
+ Assists in the maintenance of program records and databases.
+ Evaluates current programs against program goals and objectives.
+ Identifies and recommends program improvements.
+ Establishes program standards and objectives.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
+ This position requires direct engagement with minors and youth during program activities. Adheres to all university policies and state regulations pertaining to the safety and protection of minors.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
+ Two years of related experience.
Preferred Education and Experience:
+ Master's degree in a related field.
+ Preferred: Four or more years of experience in administration, program management, education or a related field.
Preferred Licenses, certificates or registration:
+ Texas teaching certificate.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
+ Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet applications, and event management platforms.
+ Effective verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
+ Strong interpersonal, leadership, and team-building abilities.
+ High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
+ Sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
