    Parker Meggitt, a recent addition to Parker Hannifin, is a global leader in the Commercial and Military Aerospace markets, specializing in a wide range of products including fire and smoke detection systems, extinguishing systems, bleed air overheat detection systems, actuators, rudder pedal assemblies, pumps, fuel gauging systems, and high-temperature cables. Located in Simi Valley, CA, this site is within the Fire Safety & Power Systems Division (FSPSD) and is a key supplier in select energy markets, particularly in nuclear gas analyzers and nuclear containment vessel penetration cables. We work directly with some of the largest aerospace companies in the world, including Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, and Lockheed Martin, among others.

     

    NDT Production Expeditor

    Position Summary:

    The Production Expeditor plans and prepares manufacturing production schedules to ensure timely workflows on the production floor. Works under limited supervision and expedites operations to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.

    Responsibilities

    + Determines and clears errors in system on a daily basis and performs ticket confirmations for un-serialized parts

    + Coordinates issues and gives feedback to the Data Coordinator and other areas as appropriate

    + Ensures floor inventories are taken in compliance with Meggitt policy and verifies confirmation in computer system

    + Assists with line-side inventory as instructed, enters inventory and amounts in system and reports variances to appropriate management

    + Configures computer system with new items and other data related functions, such as labor systems or interfaces, to insure accuracy and validity

    + Other responsibilities as assigned

    + Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary

    Qualifications:

    + Experience in planning and preparing manufacturing production schedules

    + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    + Excellent oral and written communication skills

    + Ability to problem-solve using existing procedures to perform straightforward tasks

    + Computer proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel and other spreadsheet applications

    + Able to apply a systematic disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving

    Education & Experience:

    Education: High School Diploma/Equivalent and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.

     

    Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field

     

    Years Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience

    Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California, Massachusetts, New York, Washington. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, location as well as market and business considerations.

     

    Competitive Compensation

     

    + Pay Range: $18.9/hr to $31.5/hr

    + Participation in Annual Incentive Program
