As a **Security Professional - Hotel Patrol Driver** in **Sheridan, IL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for guests and staff. Your visible presence and routine patrols help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while maintaining a professional presence.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel and resort property, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as required by site policies.

+ Support Allied Universal and client management by maintaining clear and accurate documentation of incidents and daily activities.

+ Provide guidance and support to guests and staff as needed, contributing to a welcoming and secure environment at the location.

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
