    Our client, a leading organization in the public service sector, is seeking a Telecommunications Technician III to join their team. As a Telecommunications Technician III, you will be part of the Radio Program supporting various divisions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Telecommunications Technician III

    **Location:** Eau Claire, WI

    Pay Range:

    What's the Job?

     

    + Support and maintain VHF Radio System operability across multiple sites and divisions.

    + Install and troubleshoot vehicle and office electronics related to radio communication equipment.

    + Collaborate with team members and external partners to ensure seamless radio network operations.

    + Utilize radio test equipment and programming tools to diagnose and resolve technical issues.

    + Assist in the management of approximately 150 repeaters and 2000 radios across various locations.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + At least 2 years of experience with VHF Radio System operability and electronic equipment.

    + Proficiency in vehicle and office electronics installation and troubleshooting.

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    + Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

    + Willingness to relocate or currently reside in Wisconsin.
