Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Materials Supervisor Manufacturing to join their dynamic team. As a Materials Supervisor Manufacturing, you will play a crucial role in overseeing material management processes, ensuring seamless operations, and supporting the manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, aligning successfully with the organization’s goals and values.

**Job Title:** Materials Supervisor Manufacturing

**Location:** Grand Rapids, MI 49512 (Onsite)

Pay Range: $32hr -$45hr

(must be a USC or Green Card Holder and local to the area)

What's the Job?

+ Supervise and coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials within the manufacturing facility.

+ Ensure inventory accuracy through regular audits and proper documentation.

+ Collaborate with production teams to meet material requirements and production schedules.

+ Implement safety protocols and maintain compliance with industry standards.

+ Lead and motivate a team of material handlers and support staff to achieve operational excellence.

What's Needed?

Key Requirements

+ **Education:** Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).

+ **Experience:**

+ 2+ years supervising a team (10+ direct reports preferred).

+ Background in materials management and inventory control.

+ **Skills:**

+ Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

+ Familiarity with SAP and scheduling tools.

+ Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. **Preferred Competencies**

+ Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.

+ Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
