Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic II
**Location:** Fridley, MN
**Pay Rate:** $29.00 - $35.00 per hour (DOE)
**Schedule:** Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
**Employment Type:** Full-Time | Onsite
Job Summary:
We are seeking a **Maintenance Mechanic II** to join a dynamic manufacturing team in Fridley, MN. This role is responsible for the installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and equipment, including engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyors, and hydraulic systems. This is a great opportunity for a mechanically skilled individual who enjoys problem-solving and working with industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Install, repair, rebuild, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment used in production.
+ Diagnose malfunctions and operational issues in equipment.
+ Rebuild machines and overhaul key components by disassembling, inspecting, machining, or replacing parts.
+ Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy using measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and rules.
+ Adjust functional components and control instruments.
+ Fabricate replacement parts using machine shop tools and equipment.
+ Perform preventative maintenance on equipment following manuals, diagrams, and engineering specs.
+ Provide technical assistance and respond to maintenance inquiries.
+ May assist with electrical repairs and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
Required:
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ 2+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment
Preferred:
+ 4+ years of related experience
+ Electrical Certificate
+ Experience with CNC repair
+ Welding skills
Physical Requirements:
This position involves **heavy work** , including:
+ Frequently lifting 25–50 lbs, occasionally up to 100 lbs
+ Regular reaching, handling, and fine motor work
+ Visual acuity at close distances and depth perception
+ Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
+ Ability to identify colors and adjust focus
+ Verbal and auditory communication required

**Pay Details:** $29.00 to $35.00 per hour
