    Job Title: Vertical Lathe Operator

    Job Description

    As a Vertical Lathe Operator, you will perform crucial operations on Lathe and Milling Machines. Your role involves loading and unloading parts, conducting inspections, making tool changes, and performing preventative maintenance and minor adjustments. You will be responsible for running and maintaining the function of two or more machines within a manufacturing cell. Additionally, you will use height gauges, micrometers, calipers, and various power tools while ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform operations on Lathe and Milling Machines.

    + Load and unload new parts and conduct part inspections.

    + Change tools as necessary and perform preventative maintenance.

    + Run and maintain the function of two or more machines in a manufacturing cell.

    + Use height gauges, micrometers, calipers, and various power tools.

    + Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in operating Lathe and Milling Machines.

    + Experience with machining and blueprint reading.

    + Familiarity with calipers and Haas machinery.

    + 1-3 years of experience in lathe machining or grinding.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with machining in the aerospace industry.

    This is a Contract position based out of Erlanger, Kentucky.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
