    Our client is launching a major five-year initiative and seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier development, quality assurance, and continuous improvement efforts across a dynamic supply chain.

    What You’ll Do

    + Act as the primary liaison between suppliers, supply chain, operations, and engineering to resolve quality issues.

    + Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier non-conformances.

    + Conduct supplier assessments and support qualification of new and existing suppliers.

    + Drive APQP and PPAP processes using tools like PFMEA, control plans, SPC, and Gage R&R.

    + Monitor and improve supplier performance using scorecards and KPIs (PPM, on-time delivery, 8D, etc.).

    + Support cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

    + Represent Hussmann professionally with external partners and stakeholders.

    + Collaborate on new product development to ensure supplier quality requirements are met.

    What You Bring

    + Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.

    + Minimum 5 years of experience in quality engineering or supplier quality.

    + Experience across multiple functional areas (Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, etc.) preferred.

    + Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, APQP, and PPAP.

    + Ability to travel 25–50% of the time.

    The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
