    Job Title: General Laborer

    Job Description

    Join our team as a General Laborer where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our feed mill. Your main responsibility will be mixing feed for cattle by handling and emptying 50-pound bags into a mixer for approximately half of your shift. Additionally, you will assist the mill operator with various duties, including using grain systems to prepare trucks for next-day deliveries.

    Responsibilities

    + Mix feed for cattle by emptying 50-pound bags into a mixer for about 50% of the shift.

    + Assist the mill operator with daily duties and operations.

    + Utilize grain systems to fill trucks for delivery the following morning.

    + Operate forklift or onsite truck driving as needed.

    + Manage the flow of grain by controlling systems from elevated positions near trucks.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to lift 50-pound bags throughout the shift.

    + Experience in general labor and production environments.

    + Forklift operation skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in truck driving, especially in a feed mill setting.

    + Comfort working at heights to control grain flow systems.

    Work Environment

    This is a Contract position based out of Albany, Minnesota.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
