    Job Title: Production Operators

    Job Description

    We are seeking dedicated Production Operators to join our team. You will initially work the day shift from 7am to 7:30pm for training purposes. Then transition to a 6pm - 6:30am schedule. Your role will involve operating machinery on various production lines, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality in all tasks.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform the start-up and shut-down procedures for the assigned production line area.

    + Execute duties and procedures as an operator effectively, safely, and efficiently, as instructed.

    + Complete reports and answer inquiries as requested or assigned.

    + Maintain cleanliness of the assigned production line area.

    + Multitask with changing priorities and deadlines as directed by the Supervisor.

    + Utilize industrial equipment and machinery, hand, pneumatic, and electric tools, and other industrial tooling.

    + Perform changeovers quickly, efficiently, and safely.

    + Assist with scrap breakdown as directed.

    + Comply with all company policies and procedures.

    + Perform other duties as assigned or directed by the Supervisor.

    Essential Skills

    + Two years of prior machine or production operator experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

    + Strong mathematical skills and proficiency in using a tape measure and the metric measurement system.

    + High level of attention to detail.

    + Ability to work up to 12 hours per day, including weekends, if necessary.

    + Capability to sit and stand for extended periods and perform various physical movements.

    + Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment with extreme temperatures, noise, and dust.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    + Effective verbal communication skills in English, with some roles requiring writing or typing proficiency.

    + Basic proficiency in MS Excel and effective computer use.

    + Reliability and dependability to report for assigned shifts.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Minimum education level: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

    + Prior forklift experience is a plus.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.56 - $21.56/hr.
