Description

A fast-growing construction services company in Vista is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to manage client invoicing, payment posting, and collections support. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with numbers, thrives in a collaborative team setting, and wants to be part of an industry that builds the foundation of our communities.

Responsibilities:

+ Generate and distribute invoices to clients with complete supporting documentation.

+ Track project billing schedules and verify data accuracy before submission.

+ Post customer payments and reconcile accounts to ensure timely receipt and accurate reporting.

+ Assist with collections by following up on overdue balances in a professional manner.

+ Collaborate with project managers and estimators to verify project completion and billing accuracy.

+ Maintain detailed records in the accounting system and assist with month-end close procedures.

Requirements

+ 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably in the construction industry.

+ Knowledge of lien waivers, progress billing, and AIA invoicing formats preferred.

+ Strong Excel and data entry skills with high attention to detail.

+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

+ Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
