Overview
Leads and coordinates activities of workers engaged in setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment and in fabricating metal parts and tools.
Responsibilities
+ Directs workers in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment. Assists workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment. Directs workers engaged in dismantling, assembling, and installing industrial machinery.
+ Requisitions and keeps supply of spare parts. Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
+ Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations. Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department or work crew.
+ Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.
+ Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. Recommends measures to improve maintenance methods, equipment performance, and quality of operations.
+ Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems. Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals. Maintains time and production records.
+ Confers with manager to coordinate activities of individual departments. Performs activities of workers supervised.
Qualifications
Education Requirement:
The individual must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification. Also it is preferred the individual possess a 2 year or more technical degree.
Licenses or Certification:
The individual must have a refrigeration license and a refrigeration license. Also, the individual must possess an EPA certification.
Technical/computer skills:Equipment operation
Prior years experience:
The individual must possess five or more years of experience in the HVAC field.
Other skills/requirements:
The individual must be able to read and write English. The individual must be able to speak and understand English.

Minimum Salary
USD $85,561.15/Yr.
Maximum Salary
USD $86,601.15/Yr.
