    **Job Title:** Production Supervisor

    **Reports To:** Production Manager

    SUMMARY

    Support production activities of the organization by performing the following duties personally or through production staff.

    RESPONSIBILITES

    Require and maintain a safe work environment for all employees and any non-employees who may enter that environment.

     

    Coordinate with the Production Manager to ensure that production is done in a timely, efficient and safe manner, meeting customer delivery and established quality requirements.

     

    Provide adequate training and clear direction for all production staff.

     

    Conduct informational meetings with production staff on regularly scheduled basis.

     

    Maintain accurate documentation, as required, on topics such as, but not limited to, cross training, product standards, bills of material, accidents and injuries.

     

    Compile and analyze production records.

     

    Maintain and procure proper raw material inventory, ensuring cost containment and quality. Inventory levels should be maintained in accordance with company guidelines.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

     

    EDUCATIONAL and/or EXPERIENCE

     

    Associate degree or equivalent, 3+ years of previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
